Body Found In Ohio River Feared To Be Missing Erlanger Woman

Whitney Crank is missing after falling into the Ohio River on May 18. 

(Hebron, Ky.) - A body found in the Ohio River may be that of an Erlanger woman who's been missing for more than a week.

Whitney Crank fell off a boat into the river near Cincinnati on Saturday, May 18. She was reportedly not wearing a life jacket. The man she was boating with attempted to jump into the water to save her, however, he could not find her and required rescuing himself.

Crank was never found and a search has been ongoing over the past week.

On Monday, May 27, a body was found at Constance Marina in Hebron. The marina is located near Anderson Ferry.

Positive identification from a coroner is pending.
