A GoFundMe has been launched to support his long road to recovery.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - The East Central High School community is rallying behind a student-athlete who sustained injuries in a serious crash over the weekend.
Senior Mason Halterman is currently in the ICU following the crash.
His injuries are not life-threatening, but he sustained a spinal cord injury and has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
A GoFundMe has been launched to help ease some of the financial burdens that come with this unexpected event. Any funds raised will go toward helping cover medical bills, medical supplies and necessities Mason may need during his recover. That includes rehabilitation expenses, and other essential needs that may arise.
Those interested in helping may also reach out to Coach Johnson or a booster for donations toward gas cards or Uber Eats gift cards.
