Erin Batta was named a 2020 National Merit Scholarship Finalist.

(Batesville, Ind.) - A Batesville High School student has been named a finalist for a prestigious scholarship.
On Monday, Senior Erin Batta was named a National Merit Scholarship finalist.
Batta is among approximately 15,000 finalists that advanced from the semifinalist standing.
Winners will be announced starting this April.

- National Merit® $2500 Scholarship Winners - May 13, 2020
- College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners - June 3, 2020
- Additional College-Sponsored Merit Scholarship® Winners - July 13, 2020
All winners of Merit Scholarship® awards are chosen from the finalist group based on their abilities, skills, and accomplishments—without regard to gender, race, ethnic origin, or religious preference.
