(Batesville, Ind.) - The Batesville Kiwanis is celebrating a successful 34th annual AppleFest.

The event was held this past weekend at Liberty Park in Batesville. The annual event offers attendees a chance to celebrate fall traditions, enjoy delicious food, shop from local vendors, and take part in the many activities that make AppleFest a cherished community event.

This festival would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, dedicated vendors, hardworking food booths, and all of the amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the event run smoothly.

"The Kiwanis are grateful for the community’s continued support of this annual tradition, which helps fund local projects and programs that benefit children and families throughout the Batesville area."

One of the highlights of the weekend was the AppleFest Pageant, organized by the Batesville High School Key Club and features Batesville Primary and St. Louis kindergarten and second grade students. Congratulations to this year’s royalty:

  • Miss Apple Blossom – Emilia McFall
  • Mr. Apple Bud – Henry Seifert
  • Princess Apple Dumpling – Lola Strole
  • Prince Apple Jack – Roscoe Lecher

The Batesville Kiwanis are proud to carry on this tradition and look forward to seeing everyone again next year for the 35th Annual AppleFest!
