By Travis Thayer (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Bargain shoppers can find great deals while helping out homeless animals later this month. P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County is holding its annual spring rummage sale at Agner Hall in the Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds. The sale begins Friday, April 22 at 8:00 a.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and then once again on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Those who want to donate to the rummage sale can drop items off at Agner Hall on Tuesday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 20 between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Items can be donated before April 19 at the P.A.W.S. Humane Center during adoption hours. Among the treasures that P.A.W.S. is hoping for are gently used purses, shoes and jewelry for the "boutique." Besides shopping for great bargains, delicious baked items will be available for purchase at the P.A.W.S. bake sale. Snacks and drinks will also be available at the Hot Diggity Dog Diner. Proceeds help with the costs of housing and feeding animals at the P.A.W.S. of Dearborn County Humane Center. For more information or to volunteer go to www.pawsofdearborncounty.org.
