Apartment Building Fire Leaves Families Without Home

The fire broke out early Sunday morning in Florence.

(Florence, Ky.) - A large fire at a Florence apartment building put several families out of a home.

It happened around 2:00 a.m. Sunday at Rio Grande Circle. A police officer went around the building waking up and alerting residents to the fire.

Two residents of that building were reportedly hospitalized.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced families.

A cause of the apartment building fire is under investigation.
