A one day project is scheduled for this week.

(Batesville, Ind.) - INDOT crews are scheduled to complete additional improvements on eastbound State Road 229 in Batesville.
On or after Tuesday, July 29, crews will begin installation of additional pavement markings and signage at the Kroger entrance. The State Road 229 left turn lane will be closed while work is in progress.
Work is expected to take up to one day, weather permitting.
INDOT recently completed lane improvement work at the median located on State Road 229 just north of I-74 in Batesville.
Improvements included the widening S.R. 229 northbound left turn lane as well as the installation of additional traffic loops in the left turn lane.
