The former Cincinnati Bengals player was arrested Wednesday after an altercation with Indiana Gaming Commission agents at Rising Star Casino.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Former Cincinnati Bengal Adam “Pacman” Jones is out of jail after making an appearance in Ohio County Court on Thursday.
Jones, 35, was arrested after an altercation with Indiana Gaming Commission agents at Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun on Wednesday morning. When the agents came to investigate allegations that he was cheating at a game, Jones allegedly became verbally combative and disorderly. He allegedly threatened to kill a law enforcement officer and hit another officer.
Jones made his initial appearance in court on Thursday, with his bond being set at $1,000 cash and $10,000 surety. He posted bond and has been released after a day in jail.
The former NFL player is charged with Intimidation (level 6 felony), Battery on a Public Safety Official (level 6 felony), Cheating at Gambling (level 6 felony), Attempted Theft (class A misdemeanor), Resisting Law Enforcement (class A misdemeanor), Disorderly Conduct (class B misdemeanor), and Public Intoxication (class B misdemeanor).
A pre-trial conference in Ohio County Circuit Court has been scheduled for April 29.
He has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His attorney released a statement on Wednesday defending Jones as reacting as any person would when falsely accused of cheating.
Jones played eight seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals, as well as other seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, and Denver Broncos.
He has a list of past run-ins with the law. In 2007, he was involved with a shooting at a Las Vegas nightclub which led to a $12.4 million civil judgment against him. He had three arrests in Cincinnati for incidents in 2011, 2013, and 2017.
