(Vevay, Ind.) - Six student athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for August 31 - September 5 was released on Wednesday. 

Switzerland County's Alexis Mangold is the ORVC Girls Golfer of the Week. The Pacers' star set a school record, carding a nine-hole (35) at Sportsman's

Rising Sun swept the Boys and Girls Soccer Player of the Week. Cooper Merica is the Boys Soccer Player of the Week, while Lilly Felser took home Girls Soccer Player of the Week honors. 

Merica earned weekly honors by scoring two goals and assisting on three more in a win over Southwestern. Felser had a hat trick and an assist, also against Southwestern. 

The ORVC Volleyball Player of the Week is Olivia Johnson. The Southwester star totaled 34 kills, 32 digs, 97 percent serve and 95 percent pass percentages in three matches. 

The ORVC Runners of the Week are Cavaan Hambrick (Shawe) and Savannah Nussbaum (Southwestern).
