Grand Ole Opry To Host Salute The Troops Show

Craig Morgan, Darius Rucker and Lee Greenwood are among the performers.

(Nashville, TN)  --  The Grand Ole Opry is continuing with its tradition of honoring the men and women who serve our country.

The annual Salute the Troops show will take place on May 22nd.

Darius Rucker, Lee Greenwood, Trace Adkins, Kellie Pickler and Craig Morgan are all scheduled to perform.  Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming days.

Morgan, who is a veteran himself, told "Sounds Like Nashville," "We owe so much to our veterans and to the families of our veterans.  My fellow artists and I are very excited to head to the Opry that night, shake as many family members' hands as we can, say thank you and offer some of our songs in salute."
