Brett Young Named ASCAP Country Songwriter/Artist Of The Year 

Young's career is off to a great start, as confirmed by ASCAP.

(Nashville, TN)  --  Brett Young is following in the footsteps of Alan Jackson and Sam Hunt. 

He's been named the 2018 ASCAP Country Songwriter/Artist of the Year.  The award is given to a songwriter who has written and recorded at least two songs that have amassed the greatest airplay during a pre-determined time period. 

Young will be recognized at the ASCAP Country Music Awards on November 12th in Nashville. 

Young has scored four consecutive number one songs, all of which were co-written by him.
