While missionaries in the Philippines, Gracia & her husband, Martin, were kidnapped by terrorists & spend the next 13 months as hostages in the Philippine jungle. On June 7, 2002 captivity ended for these two missionaries in a violent rescue that left Martin Burnham dead & Gracia wounded. Their story of faith in the midst of terror & tragedy is known to millions. Gracia is the author of the New York Times bestselling book "In the Presence of My Enemies," and author of the newer book, "To Fly Again."
We welcome Gracia on Thursday, April 16th as a guest speaker to hear her captivating story. A love offering will be received to benefit the Ministries of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), of Southeast Indiana.
