A poetry slam designed for beginners at the library!

More Information (Eagle Country 99.3 is not responsible for external websites)

Since the 1980s, poetry and performance have collided in the form of poetry slams – lively competitions of spoken word poetry – judged by the audience.

Celebrate the Bard’s birthday by bringing a poem and your personality for a poetry slam designed for beginners. If you don’t have a poem prepared, arrive at 5 pm for help creating one using blackout poetry and cut-up poetry techniques.
