Dearborn County property taxes due

If you are responsible for paying property tax and did not receive your statement(s), please contact our office immediately at 812-537-8811 or email bscherzinger@dearborncounty.in.gov.

The Spring tax installment is due Thursday, May 10th, 2018. You may pay your property tax in one of the following ways:

• In person at the Treasurer’s Office Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 4:30.  Please note the Government Center is closed on Holidays and Election Day.
• By mail postmarked by May 10th to Dearborn Co. Treasurer, 165 Mary Street, Lawrenceburg, IN  47025.  Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned.
• After office hours by using our drop-box located outside of Dearborn County Government Center, 165 Mary St., go up the steps and located to the right of the building is Treasurer’s Drop Box.   Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your receipt returned.  Please, do not leave cash.
• By credit card by visiting the county website at www.dearborncounty.org.  Go to the “Treasurer’s Page” under “Taxes” and on the left side of the page select “Property Tax Payment Options” under “Topics of Interest”. or you may call Pay-Gov directly at 1-866-480-8552.  Please have your bill ready so necessary information can be found.
• Remember Dearborn County Government Center is under construction and parking is premium, handicap parking is located in front of the Government Center with a handicap ramp located to the right side of building for your convenience.  If you have any questions, please contact our office by calling 812-537-8811, FAX 812-532-3243 or email bscherzinger@dearborncounty.in.gov as soon as possible to allow time to resolve any issues there may be.  You may also visit our website at www.dearborncounty.org to view your tax information by selecting Property Search (GIS) under the Taxes menu.
