(Hanover, Ind.) – A career 1,000-point scorer is the lone weekly award winner in the Ohio River Valley Conference.
The ORVC Report for the week of February 6-10 was released on Wednesday.
Southwestern (Hanover) guard Peyton Gwin was named the ORVC Boys Basketball Player of the Week.
Gwin scored 19 points with six assists and five rebounds in a 71-70 win over Rising Sun last Friday. He made two free throws to eclipse the 1,000-career point mark just before halftime of the Rebel’s win.

The Rebels star is currently the third-leading scorer in the ORVC at 18.7 points per game. He is also among the leaders in assists (58), field goal percentage (48%), and 3-pointers made (31).
