SD's Ballart, EC's Minges, Milan's Langferman Named to Top 22 All-State Team

INDIANAPOLIS - Three high school football stars from southeastern Indiana were recently in Indianapolis to be recognized among the best high school football players in Indiana. 

South Dearborn senior linebacker Brady Ballart, East Central junior running back Ryan Minges, and Milan junior tight end and linebacker Grant Langferman were named to the Indiana Preps 2025 Top 22 All-State Teams. 

Ballart is among the top 22 senior class players coming into the 2025 season. The Knights' star and University of Louisville commit, previously received the honor as an underclassmen each of the last two seasons.

Last year as a junior, Ballart recorded 76 tackles with 14 for a loss and an interception. He also ran the ball 50 times for 134 yards and two scores and caught nine passes for 112 yards. 

As a three-year starter at South Dearborn, Ballart has 238 career tackles, including 27 for a loss. 

Minges is a member of the Indiana Preps 2025 Top 22 Underclass Team. As a sophomore, Minges ran for 1,517 and 25 touchdowns. His 25 touchdowns were the 9th most in a season for an EC runner all-time. 

Last year, Minges received his first D-1 offer from Miami (Oh.). 

Langferman was the top receiver for Milan last season, hauling in 32 receptions for 535 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also racked up 95 tackles, including 16 for a loss. 

All three players earned All-State honors in 2024.
