Ringer Becomes EC All-Time Rushing Leader

Ringer also broke his own school record for rushing TDs in a game with seven.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - Josh Ringer is East Central's all-time leading rusher. 

The senior tailback broke Andrew Wolf's record of 5,708 yards in a 56-20 win over Martinsville. 

Ringer scored on a 57-yard TD to break the record. 

He finished the game with 325 yards and seven touchdowns, breaking his previous school record of six touchdown scores in a game. Ringer's seven touchdowns brought his yearly total to 43, breaking his previous record of 39. 

He already holds school records for most points scored in a game (36), most points scored in a season (252), and most career rushing touchdowns (98).
