Record-Breakers, Stat-Stuffers Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Vevay, Ind.) - Seven student-athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for January 20-25 was released on Tuesday. 

In boys basketball, Switzerland County senior Cam Craig and South Ripley senior Cole Henry are the Co-Players of the Week after record-breaking performances last Friday night. Craig scored 25 points in a win against Rising Sun, breaking the Switzerland County all-time scoring record previously held by Brad Burk since 1982. Henry set the South Ripley single-game scoring record with 46 points against Milan. 

South Ripley Kaiya Rinear and Shawe Memorial's Audrey Barron were named the Girls Basketball Players of the Week. Rinear totaled 40 points and 21 rebounds in two games, while Barron tallied 69 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists in two games. 

Matthew Vaughn (Shawe), Olivia Graver (Rising Sun), and Riley Crawford (Southwestern) are the ORVC Performers of the Week in Swimming and Diving.
