The State Finals take place Friday and Saturday in Indianapolis.


INDIANAPOLIS - Three student-athletes from southeastern Indiana will compete for a state championship this weekend.
The IHSAA Swimming and Diving State Finals will take place Friday and Saturday at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Swimming Preliminaries will be held Friday starting at 6:00 p.m.
Oldenburg Academy sophomore Nash King will compete in the 500 freestyle after wining the sectional championship in the event. He also qualified for the 200 individual medley after placing second at the sectional with a school-record time of 1:50.97.
Teammate Santiago Schutte, a senior, qualified for state in the 50 freestyle with a 3rd place finish at sectional, where he set a new school record of 21.63.
South Dearborn senior Carson Cheek will represent the Knights at the Diving State Finals, which will take place on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. He advanced from the Jasper regional finishing 7th out of 20 divers.
Cheek is scheduled to dive 12th in the preliminary round.
