This will be Goepper's fourth Olympic Games.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Nick Goepper is no stranger to competing at the Olympics, but this time he will do so in a new discipline.
On Saturday at the Calgary Snow Rodeo, the Lawrenceburg native qualified for the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics in the halfpipe.
It will be his first time competing in the halfpipe at the Winter Games, and his fourth Winter Games overall - previously competing in the slopestyle.
Goepper, 31, joins Alex Ferreira as the two U.S. men who earned automatic qualification to the Olympic halfpipe team.
By qualifying for the Olympics, Goepper has accomplished a goal that he set back in 2023 when he unretired from competition to chase making the U.S. halfpipe team.
Goepper aims to win his fourth Olympic medal at the 2026 Winter Games. He previously won a bronze medal in 2014, and took silver in 2018 and 2022 in slopestyle.
