(Vevay, Ind.) - For the first time since 2020, the Mid-Indiana Football Conference has named an All-Conference Team.
The MIFC disbanded after the 2020 season but got back together ahead of the 2025 season.
North Decatur won the conference this year with a 5-0 record in conference play. Switzerland County finished second at 4-1, followed by Milan at 3-2. South Decatur (2-3), Brown County (1-4) and Edinburgh (0-5) rounded out the MIFC standings.
Switzerland County senior Matthew Young was named the MIFC Offensive Player of the Year. The Pacers' star ran for 1,312 yards and 15 touchdowns, helping led Switzerland County to their most wins in a single season (8). He also set the Switzerland County record for career rushing yards with 2,138.
Milan junior Grant Langferman is the MIFC Defensive Player of the Year. The Indians' star has 57 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, four sacks, 16 hurries, and an interception through 10 games.
North Decatur senior Corbin Thackery won MIFC Special Teams Player of the Year. Thackery scored seven special teams touchdowns, including four punt returns and three kickoff returns.
