Five area softball teams advanced in the state tournament on Tuesday night.

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Columbus East - Semifinals

*The Trojans will play Whiteland in the championship game on Thursday at 6:30 PM. 

 

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Rushville - First Round

Lawrenceburg 10, South Dearborn 0

Connersville 9, Greensburg 4 

*Franklin County and Rushville will play in Semi-Final #1 on Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Lawrenceburg vs. Connersville will follow at 7:45. 

 

Class 2A Sectional 45 at Milan - First Round

Hauser 12, Switzerland County 0 

Milan 4, Brown County 2

*South Ripley and Brownstown Central will play in Semi-Final #1 on Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Milan vs. Hauser will follow at 7:30. 

 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at North Decatur - Semifinals 

Jac-Cen-Del 5, Oldenburg Academy 1 

*The Eagles will play North Decatur in the championship game on Thursday at 6:00 PM. 

 

Class 1A Sectional 62 at New Washington - Semifinals
