Milan, Rising Sun, and Franklin Co. advanced in the boys basketball state tournament on Tuesday.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Columbus North - First Round

Shelbyville 54, East Central 47 (OT) - The Trojans finish the season with a record of 7-16. 

Columbus North 40, Franklin 38

*Shelbyville advances to play Whiteland in the semifinals. Columbus North will play Columbus East.

 

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Greensburg - First Round

Franklin County 50, Rushville 45 

*Franklin County will play Batesville in the semifinals. 

 

Class 2A Sectional 45 at South Ripley - First Round

Milan 59, Switzerland County 56 - The Pacers finish the season with a record of 9-15. 

  • Kohen Rinear (M): 18 points
  • Brayden Rohrig (M): 13 points
  • Jacob Williams (SC): 22 points
  • Kadyn Riley (SC): 18 points

*Milan will play Hauser in the semifinals

 

Class 1A Sectional 62 at New Washington - First Round

New Washington 61, Shawe Memorial 52 

Rising Sun 69, Medora 42

*New Washington advances to play Trinity Lutheran in the semifinals. Rising Sun will play Crothersville.
