Wrestling state finals, girls basketball semi-state, boys swim sectionals, and a basketball milestone highlighted the weekend.
WRESTLING
IHSAA State Finals at Evansville
Switzerland County's Gabe Rose is defeated in the first round by Easton Doster, TF-1.5 4:21 (19-4). Doster would go on to win the State Championship at 144 pounds. Rose ends the season with a record of 24-8.
Batesville's Max Amberger is defeated in the first round by Nate Johnson (7-1 Decision). Johnson would go on to win the State Championship at 285 pounds. Amberger ends the season with a record of 40-5.
