(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Friends and family won't have to travel far to see Haylee Palmer play softball at the collegiate level.
The Lawrenceburg High School senior recently announced on her X page that she has committed to continue her academic and athletic career at Thomas More University in Crestview, Kentucky.
Palmer, a third baseman, outfielder, and pitcher, hit .425 this past spring with 17 doubles, 18 runs scored, and 27 RBI. She also went 3-7 in the pitching circle with a 3.72 ERA.
She was one of three Lady Tigers named to the EIAC All-Conference Team.
Palmer, along with Brooklyn Couch, Meghan Heinsman, Ava Hall, and Jill Cavanaugh, are among the key performers returning for the Lady Tigers next spring.
I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Thomas More University! Couldn’t have been possible without my parents, coaches, and teammates. Go Saints!💙🖤🤍 @TMU_Softball @GatorsHazelwood @DOOMPremier16U @LburgTigers @LHSTiger_SB @44__marco pic.twitter.com/gbvKqB4BZD
