Lawrenceburg To Limit Attendance, Crowd Size At Sport Events, Other Group Activities

Ticket sales will be limited for Friday's sectional football game.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – As COVID-19 cases rise in southeast Indiana, crowd sizes at high school sporting events will decrease.

Lawrenceburg Community School Corporation Superintendent Karl Galey announced Wednesday that they school corporation will take action to limit attendance and crowd size at sporting events and other group activities, at the recommendation of county health officer Dr. Stephen Eliason.

Therefore, the Tigers upcoming sectional football game versus Brownstown Central will have a 250-person limit.

This means 250 fans enter on the plaza level and 250 fans enter on the field level.

Tickets will be sold to families of football players, football managers, cheerleaders, band members and coach on Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Senior football players, managers, senior cheerleaders, and senior band members will be allowed to purchase four tickets on Wednesday night. Underclass will be allowed two tickets.

Wednesday night’s pre-sale will be held at the Lauren Hill Entrance of the LHS Gym.

Tickets not sold on Wednesday night will go towards the high school student ticket sale on Thursday. Students are limited to one ticket.

Sectional admission is $6 for all fans.

All people attending must wear a mask at all times and are to socially distance in the stands.
