(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Tigers sophomore Brooklyn Craig is one to watch over the next three seasons.
On Thursday, Craig was named to the Indiana Girls Basketball Recruiting Report's Top 100 Prospect List for the Class of 2026.
The watchlist are projections of prospects at the college level. The projections are based on observation and evaluation of games, workouts, and showcases at club and high school events. IGBRR gather input from player’s coaches, trainers, and peer evaluators.
Craig was a key contributor for Zane White’s Lady Tigers last season. She averaged 6.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and nearly a steal per game as a freshman. She also led the Lady Tigers in charges taken with 21, and set the Lawrenceburg single-season record for 3-point makes with 34.
This past summer, Craig participated in the IGBRR All-Indiana Showcase Elite 100 event. She averaged 14.6 points per game over a three-game stretch and participated in drill and station workouts.
When she’s not starring for the Lady Tigers, Craig plays club basketball with Indiana Pride Xtreme.
Craig will likely see an increased role as a scorer during the 2023-24 season with the graduation of Lizzie Redar (14.6 PPG) and Nicole Houze (4.3 PPG).
She and fellow sophomore Aubree Labazzo make up one of the top backcourts in southeast Indiana. Other key contributors expected to return this season for Lawrenceburg are Natalie Knigga (9.1 PPG, 5.8 RPG) and Kamryn Ferreira (7.4 PPG).
Lawrenceburg opens the 2023-24 season Saturday, November 4 at North Decatur.
