JCD's Day Named ORVC Girls Basketball Player Of The Week

(Osgood, Ind.) – Jac-Cen-Del Lady Eagles basketball standout Mariah Day used a high-scoring week to earn weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference.

The ORVC report for November 5-10 was released on Tuesday.

Day averaged 19.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 3.0 steals over a two game stretch last week. The Lady Eagles star is currently fifth in the ORVC in scoring at 15.7 ppg.

South Ripley Elexah Roepke leads the conference in scoring at just over 20 points per game. Rising Sun’s Lindsay Montgomery is the conference’s top rebound getter at 10.3 boards a game, and South Ripley star Morgan Peetz leads the ORVC in assists with 24 on the season.
