GMS Track Stars Race to Runner-Up Finishes at State Championships

The Co-ed 4x400 Meter Relay team of Sam Dennis, Alayna Tuttle, Grayson Messer and Sam Bostic finished in second place

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Four student-athletes from Greendale Middle School represented their school at the 2025 Indiana State Middle School Track and Field Championships this past weekend. 

The Co-ed 4x400 Meter Relay team of Sam Dennis, Alayna Tuttle, Grayson Messer and Sam Bostic finished in second place, falling short of the state title by a margin of just 0.3 seconds. 

Grayson Messer delivered another top performance placing second in the Girls 400 Meter Dash. 

“We’re incredibly proud of these athletes and their hard work,” said their coach Justin Noppert. “To compete at this level—and place this high—is a testament to their commitment, their teamwork, and their love for the sport.”
