Brooke Stang was an All-State selection as a sophomore.

(Brookville, Ind.) – Franklin County High School softball star Brooke Stang is heading to the Big Ten Conference.
Stang announced Wednesday night her commitment to the University of Illinois.
As a sophomore, Stang ranked third in the EIAC in batting average (.534), eighth in home runs (5), and sixth in RBI (31). She also reached base at a .566 clip, stole 17 bases, and scored 45 runs.
Stang, a center fielder, has earned All-EIAC honors as a freshman and sophomore.
Following her sophomore season, she was named to the Softball Coaches Association 3A/4A All-State Third Team.
