(Aurora, Ind.) – South Dearborn High School football standout Axel Bell has signed to attend and play with Thomas More University.

Bell, an Indiana Football Coaches Association Senior All-State honoree and IFCA South All-Star, signed Tuesday to play for the NCAA Division III Saints in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

As a senior defensive lineman last fall, Bell racked up 51 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, and a school record 16 sacks. He recorded four sacks in one game, also a school record.

Bell played against some of the best high school talent in the 2019 Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Houston, Texas last January.
