(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It was a chilly Saturday morning along the Ohio River for the annual Monster Mash Dash 5K.
The 10th annual event, hosted by Ivy Tech Community College, saw 74 runners and walkers come out to support the Ivy Cares Student Support Program.
IvyCares focuses on helping students connect with resources in the following areas: emergency transportation assistance, food security, mental health resources, technology assistance, and emergency aid funding.
The Monster Mash Dash 5K run was won by Bryan Wagner, 41, of Lawrenceburg. He crossed the finish line with a time of 17:57. His daughter, Beckett, 12, was the overall female winner with a time of 24:38.
Christy Albright, 53, of Bennington, won the 5K walk with a time of 39:50. Robert Neugebauer, 73, of Hamilton, was the overall male winner with a time of 39:45.
