EIAC Track and Field Conference Results

East Central takes both the Boys and Girls EIAC Titles.

(Connersville, IN) - Connersville High School hosted the EIAC Conference Track Meet. East Central takes both the Boys and Girls EIAC Titles. The lady Trojans scored 166 points. The boys won with a score of 150. The Trojans combined for 20 first place victories in the meet. 

Batesville was the runner-up with Conference Championships in 14 different events and 10 events as Conference Runner Up.

The Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers were 3rd at 102 points and the boys tied for 3rd with Greensburg with 71 points. Greensburg girls took 4th at 44, just 3 points ahead of Franklin County at 41, who was just 1 point in front of Rushville at 40, beating Connersville by 3 at 37 points, just 4 points ahead of South Dearborn with 33 points.  For the rest of the boys, Rushville was 5th with 63, beating South Dearborn at 55 points and Connersville took 7th with 49.5, just outscoring Franklin County who finished with 48 points.

Batesville Conference Championship medals went to:

  • Ella King in both the shot put (42-1) and discus (109-11)
  • Ava Wade in both the 800m run (2:19.29) and 1600m run(5:08.67)-both personal best performances for her
  • Maggie Jelinek-300m hurdles (48.84)-personal best
  • Cannon Clark-800m run (2:03.02)
  • The Boys 4 x 800m relay (8:27.83) of Cannon Clark, Cash Myers, James Rowland and Griffin Koester

Franklin County Conference Championship medals went to:

  • Boys 4 X 100m relay (43.70) Ben Harvey Joey Meyer Brady Brunemann Wyatt Bowling
  • Wyatt Bowling 11.20 (boys 100m)

Lawrenceburg Conference Championship medals went to:
