EC's Stenger Named IBCA District 3 Player of the Week

(St. Leon, Ind.) - East Central sophomore guard Natalie Stenger has been named the IBCA District 3 Girls Basketball Player of the Week for November 24-29. 

Stenger averaged 23.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.5 steals in two wins for the undefeated Trojans (7-0). 

First was a 29-point performance in a 62-50 win over Greensburg (#4 in 3A). Stenger followed that up with 18 points, two rebounds, three assists and four steals as the Trojans topped South Ripley (#19 in 2A) by a score of 55-44.

For the week, Stenger converted 18-of-31 field goals, 4-of-11 3-pointers and 7-of-15 free throws. 

East Central ranks #9 in Class 4A.
