(St. Leon, Ind.) - Hoo, Hoo, Hoo, Hoosiers!
East Central senior Trevor Perkins is set to run Track & Field at Indiana University.
He signed his letter of intent on National Signing Day earlier this week.
Perkins is an accomplished high school runner, finishing 9th in the 110-meter hurdles at the IHSAA State Championship last spring. He competed at State as a sophomore as part of East Central's 4x400 team that placed 17th.
Leading up to the State Finals this past season, Perkins was crowned EIAC Champion in the 110- and 300-meter hurdles. He claimed two conference titles as a sophomore in the 110-hurdles and 4x400 relay.
Below are some of Perkins' personal bests:
- 110mH: 14.03
- 100m: 11.01
- 400m: 52.80
- High Jump: 6’2
