(Crestview Hills, Ky.) – Another accolade has been earned by Thomas More College softball star Alix DeDreu.
The NFCA announced the 360 players chosen for the 2018 NFCA Division III All-Region softball teams on Wednesday.
DeDreu was named Second Team All-Region as a utility player.
The junior pitcher is currently tied for the second most wins in Thomas More history with 46. DeDreu also broke her own single-season mark of 19 wins with 23 this year. If that’s not enough, DeDreu now holds the single-season school record for strikeouts with 178.
The former Rising Sun Lady Shiners star can also swing the bat. In 160 plate appearances this season, DeDreu has recorded 53 hits, 41 RBIs and 34 runs.
The Saints ended their season 32-16 overall and 17-1 in the conference, PAC Champions, and reaching the first round of the NCAA Tournament Bloomington Regional.
