VIDEO: Claire Samples' 3/4 Court Shot Highlights South Ripley's Centerville Tourney Win

(Versailles, Ind.) - Claire Samples made a shot she will never forget. 

It happened as the first quarter was coming to a close at the Centerville Holiday Tournament when Samples made a buzzer-beating 3/4 court shot against Edinburgh. 

South Ripley would go on to win the game and the tournament, defeating Edinburgh 60-33. The Lady Raiders got past Fort Wayne Blackhawk (55-43) in the first round. 

Several players have now reached new career milestones as well. Senior Kaiya Rinear has surpassed 1100 career points, Claire Samples has over 600 career points and 300 career rebounds, Emily Parks has crossed her first milestone in points and 100 assists.

South Ripley is currently 11-3 on the season and will play a tough Madison Cub team before defending their back-to-back Ripley County Championships the following week.
