(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg native Mason Parris is two wins away from punching his ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The U.S. Wrestling Olympic Team Trials will be held April 19-20 at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania.

Due to taking the bronze medal at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships last September, Parris received a bye into the best-of-three championship series.

Ten contenders will attempt to navigate the 125 kg bracket for the chance to wrestle Parris.

The winner will represent Team USA at 125 kg at the Paris Olympics, which run July 26 through August 11.
