Area Track and Field Stars Named Indiana All-Stars

Six stars from SEI will compete at the Midwest Meet of Champions on Saturday.

(Fishers, Ind.) - Six local track and field stars have been named Indiana All-Stars. 

The Indiana Association of Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches have announced the participants of the 51st Annual Midwest Meet of Champions. 

The event will happen on Saturday, June 14 starting at 5:00 p.m. at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers. 

Below is a list of local athletes that will compete and in which event: 

  • 100 Hurdles - Alexa Yeomans, South Ripley
  • Shot Put - Olivia Grimes, Greensburg
  • Discus - Olivia Grimes, Greensburg
  • 1600 Meters - Jake Chapman, Batesville
  • 110 Hurdles - Trevor Perkins, East Central
  • High Jump - Ayden Eckstein, Batesville
  • Discus - Will Kemper, East Central
