The incident was reported on Friday at a home on Catalpa Street near Patriot.

(Patriot, Ind.) – One person is in custody after a shooting in Switzerland County.
Stacey D. Henderson, 30, has been arrested in connection to the shooting of her boyfriend, Jeremiah M. Powell, 39.
Switzerland County Deputies responded to the shooting at a residence in the 3800 block of Catalpa Street near Patriot on Friday around 10:45 p.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found Powell suffering a gunshot wound to his upper leg. Powell was treated at the scene then transported to UC Medical Center with what is considered a serious injury.
Henderson made her initial appear in Switzerland County Circuit Court on Monday as she faces multiple felonies: Aggravated Battery (Level 3 Felony), Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon (Level 5 Felony), Domestic Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (Level 5 Felony), Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child (Level 6 Felony) and Pointing a Firearm (Level 6 Felony).
She remains incarcerated on $10,000 cash bond.
