Wind Advisory Issued for Tri-State Area

Gusty winds, rain and possible thunderstorms are in the forecast this weekend.

(Wilmington, Oh.) - Gusty winds are expected this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, a Wind Advisory is in effect for the tri-state area on Saturday from 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, tree limbs could be blown down, and power outages are possible. 

On the roadway, motorists should use extra caution, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. 

Other weekend weather includes the chance for showers and thunderstorms from Saturday morning to Sunday morning.
