The Harrison man was killed in a sprint car crash at Lawrenceburg Speedway last Saturday.

(Harrison, Oh.) - The life of Justin Owen will be celebrated on Thursday.
The sprint car driver from Harrison tragically passed away last Saturday following a qualifying round crash during the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship event at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
He was 26.
Owen, a Harrison High School graduate, raced for 20 years. He started with go-karts at the age of 6 and moved to sprint cars at age 15.
In 2022, he was the Lawrenceburg Speedway Track Champion.
Visitation for Owen will take place on Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Spring Grove Funeral Home in Cincinnati. Funeral services will come after, followed by a celebration of life from noon to 2:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be made to Driven to Save Lives – The Bryan Clausen Legacy Fund.
