Versailles Fire Rescue Hands Out Awards to Six Members

(Versailles, Ind.) - Six Versailles Fire Rescue members have been honored with awards. 

The department held their annual awards banquet on Saturday evening at the Tanglewood on the Versailles Square. 

Troy Franklin was named the Firefighter of the Year. 

The Chiefs Award went to Nathan Pelfrey, while Rick Dillion was named Officer of the Year. Top Responder of the Year went to Bryan Buchanan. Other recognition went to Dalton Garner for 10 years of service and Alyssa Dillion for five years of service.
