Volunteers Needed for Cole Lane Roadside Clean-up

The effort will take place on March 28.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The next Dearborn County Anti-Litter Initiative (DCALI) roadside clean-up is Saturday, March 28 at Cole Lane Hill from 8:30 a.m.-12 noon.

Volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. at 7216 E. Laughery Creek Road, Aurora 47001, for supplies and safety instructions. Park up the driveway or in the yard. Volunteers will be transported to the Cole Lane Hill clean-up site.

The road will be closed to thru traffic from 9:00 a.m. to noon to ensure the safety of volunteers. Dearborn County Sheriff Deputies will be on site.

Residents, mail carrier, etc. will have access and can get in and out. Please note that the clean-up area itself is a narrow, winding segment with the guardrails. There will be signs posted advising of the closure a few days before March 28.
