Versailles Fire Chief Named to IFCA Executive Board

He is joined by four other fire chiefs from around the state.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Five fire chief's from across the state of Indiana make up the Indiana Fire Chief's Association (IFCA) Executive Board. 

On Thursday, Versailles Fire Chief Ben Sieverding was named 3rd Vice President. He is joined on the Executive Board by North Vernon Fire Chief and 2nd Vice President Michael Cole. 

  • President: Matt McCullough, Riley Fire Department
  • 1st Vice President: James Richey, Scottsburg Fire & Rescue
  • 2nd Vice President: Michael Cole, The City of North Vernon Fire Department
  • 3rd Vice President: Ben Sieverding, Versailles Fire Rescue
  • Secretary/Treasurer: Eric Funkhouser, Bargersville Fire Department

Since 1926, the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association (IFCA) has been dedicated to advancing professionalism across the fire service. Our membership spans the state—from Chiefs of Departments and command staff to associate members committed to supporting their communities from every level of the fire service.

Throughout the year, IFCA provides high-impact educational programs, leadership conferences, and statewide networking opportunities.

The IFCA Board of Directors continues to invest time and resources into strengthening our statewide presence. Their ongoing dedication fuels growth and innovation across the organization.
