Utility Crew Cuts Fiberoptics Line

(Batesville, Ind.) - Much of southern Indiana was without internet service Wednesday.

 

A utility crew digging in Seymour accidentally severed a fiber optics line, cutting internet and phone service to various areas at about 10:45 a.m., according to Frontier Communications.

 

The outage affected cities from Terre Haute to Seymour, and Batesville to Jasper.

 

Service remained out for some residents until after 7:00 last night.
