Update published at 4:15 p.m.: Two were hospitalized following a reported shooting incident in Switzerland County. The Switzerland County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a male subject claiming to be the victim of a shooting incident around 11:49 a.m. on Sunday. After arriving at the scene, deputies say they spoke with Bruce Goddard before he was air lifted to an area hospital. With the help of an Indiana State Police K9 unit, deputies were able to locate Penny Goddard in a wooded area near the residence. She was also transported by air ambulance to an area hospital. The extent of the two's injuries were not disclosed, but both subjects were last reported to be in stable condition, and are expected to recover. The Switzerland County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Posey Volunteer Fire Department, Switzerland County Emergency Response, Indiana State Police and the Vevay Police Department.
