UPDATE: Stabbing Reported At Lawrenceburg Gas Station; Video Released

Update published Wednesday, August 11 at 2:39 p.m.:

Lawrenceburg Police have released more information about the suspect. 

"Please note the ghost graphic Oscar Mike emblem on the front hood which is cropped in one of the photos. This vehicle, possibly a Jeep Latitude, may have Ohio temporary plates. If you see this subject please do not approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous. If you see this subject, recognize him, or recognize the vehicle, please contact Lawrenceburg Police at 812-537-2284," a news release read. 

 

Update published Wednesday, August 11 at 10:12 a.m.:

According to Lawrenceburg Police, a gas station clerk was received a cut to his arm during an attempted robbery. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. 

The suspect is believed to have left the area shortly after the robbery. He is described as a white male, wearing a fluorescent green t-shirt, blue jeans, and work boots. 

The investigation is ongoing and more information could be forthcoming.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - One person was stabbed during a potential robbery this morning in Lawrenceburg. 

The incident took place at VP Racing Fuels on Arch Street just before 8:00 a.m.

According to Dearborn County Dispatch, a white male entered the gas station and stabbed one person. EMS was requested to assist the victim. 

The suspect fled the scene, wearing a bright green shirt and blue jeans. 

Lawrenceburg Community Schools went into lockdown at 8:00 as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted before 9:00.
