UPDATE: Sawdon Ridge Road Bridge Has Re-Opened

By Travis Thayer Update published April 8 at 11:57 a.m.: According to the Dearborn County Highway Department, repairs on Bridge #66 on Sawdon Ridge Road have been completed. Sawdon Ridge Road is now open for traffic. Original story published March 30 at 3:24 p.m.: (Guilford, Ind.) - A bridge repair project will likely effect some Dearborn County motorists next week. The Dearborn County Highway Department announced that repairs on Bridge #66 on Sawdon Ridge Road will begin on Monday. The repairs will take place a fourth of a mile north of State Road 1. Sawdon Ridge Road will be closed to through traffic beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 4 through Friday, April 8, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Motorists will have to use North Dearborn Road and SR 1 as the detour until the bridge re-opens.
