USPS is looking to fill immediate positions for rural carrier assistants.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - The U.S. Postal Service will hold job fairs across the state on Thursday, June 26.
The goal is to fill immediate openings for rural carrier assistants. The positions pay up to $20.38 per hour, plus some benefits.
Locally, a job fair will be held at the Dillsboro Post Office at 12830 North Street from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
To assist potential applicants, USPS personnel will be onsite at the job fairs to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers.
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be available to work weekends and holidays.
Additionally, Post Offices will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. There will be no mail delivery, caller service or Post Office Box service. All services will resume on Friday, June 20. The Post Office will be open regularly scheduled hours on Wednesday, June 18.
